Omar Sow

Omar Sow is a seasoned manufacturing professional with extensive experience in process engineering and team leadership. Presently serving as a Manufacturing Team Leader at Celestica since March 2024, Omar previously held various roles at Finisar Corporation, including Lead Manufacturing Engineer and Senior Process Engineer, with a focus on oxidation and wet etch processes. Additionally, Omar worked as a Senior Process Engineer and Process Engineering Technician, specializing in metal, oxidation, wet etch, die sort, and saw processes. Prior to these positions, Omar was a wafer fab operator at II-VI Incorporated. Omar holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians from the University of Texas at Dallas and an Associate's degree in the same field from Richland College.
