Libby Rasmussen

Libby Rasmussen is currently serving as a Policy Advocate at the Celiac Disease Foundation since February 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Corporate Counsel - Employment and Corporate Counsel - Employment at Nordstrom from April 2017 to July 2019. Libby has also worked as a Labor and Employment Attorney at Perkins Coie LLP from August 2015 to April 2017, and at Karr Tuttle Campbell from 2012 to 2015, where the role was similarly focused on labor and employment law. Additional experience includes a Judicial Externship with the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington in early 2012, as well as Summer Associate and Judicial Extern roles at Karr Tuttle Campbell and King County Superior Court, respectively. Libby began a career in law as a Litigation Support Clerk at Foster Pepper PLLC from 2008 to 2009. Academically, Libby holds a Juris Doctor degree with honors from the University of Washington School of Law (2009-2012) and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Spanish from the University of Oregon (2004-2008), along with early education at Jesuit High School Portland.
