John M. Burdett

John M. Burdett, Ed.D. currently serves as the Principal of Celina High School, a position held since May 2023. Prior to this role, Burdett worked as the Director of Student Services for Prosper ISD from August 2022 to May 2023 and as Principal of Prosper High School from March 2017 to June 2022. Additional experience includes serving as Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources at Eanes Independent School District, Director of Recruitment and Retention at Plano ISD, and Principal of Liberty High School at Frisco ISD. Burdett has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Texas. Burdett earned an Ed.D. in Administration from the University of North Texas.
