Séverine Merle has an extensive work history in the fashion industry. Séverine began their career in 1994 at Le Bon Marché Rive gauche, where they held various roles, including Director of Advertising and Director of Communication. Séverine then moved on to Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, where they served as the Director of Commercial and Image. In 2008, they joined Louis Vuitton as the Global Merchandising Director and later became the General Manager of France. In 2014, they joined Berluti as the Executive Vice President before moving on to become the CEO of Céline in 2017. In 2019, they became the President of the Chambre Syndicale de la Mode Masculine at the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.
