Darya Orlova

Associate Director, Computational Biology at Cell Signaling Technology

Darya Orlova's work experience includes serving as an Associate Director of Computational Biology at Cell Signaling Technology, where they lead a team in understanding cell signaling pathways and target discovery. Prior to this, they worked at Genentech as a Principal Scientist and lab head, leading a research group focused on in silico drug target and biomarker discovery in cancer immunology. Before joining Genentech, Darya worked at Stanford University as an Instructor and Postdoctoral Fellow, where they contributed to computational immunology and statistics projects. Darya also has experience as a Graduate Research Fellow at the Institute of Biophysics and the Institute of Chemical Kinetics and Combustion, where they developed methodologies and models for studying biological interactions.

Darya Orlova earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from Novosibirsk State University in 2007. Darya then went on to earn a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics from the same university from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, Darya pursued two concurrent Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs, one in Biophysics at Masaryk University Brno, and the other in Physics and Mathematics at the Institute of Chemical Kinetics and Combustion in Novosibirsk, Russia.
