Emily Quann Alonzo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in immunology and antibody discovery. Currently serving as the Director of Antibody Discovery, Immunology, and Immuno-Oncology at Cell Signaling Technology since July 2011, Emily has held various roles including Associate Director and Principal Scientist. Prior to this, Emily contributed as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where innovative techniques were used to analyze T cell receptor signaling pathways. Emily's early research at Georgetown University Medical Center involved studying signal transduction in cancer cells, along with a tenure as a Chemical Engineer at ExxonMobil, focusing on refinery process optimization. Emily holds a PhD in Cell Biology from Georgetown University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
