Bharat Thakkar

Bharat Thakkar is an experienced mechanical engineer with extensive expertise in managing and executing engineering projects related to new product introduction, design improvements, safety, reliability, and compliance. Currently serving as a Supervising Staff Mechanical Engineer at Cellares since July 2020, Bharat has previously held key roles at Verb Surgical Inc., Auris Surgical Robotics, and Accuray, demonstrating a strong focus on mechanical system design and development. Notable achievements include leading the mechanical design of a high-precision laser cutting platform at Coherent Inc. and developing a computer-aided system for neurosurgical applications during a tenure as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Utah. Bharat holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah, an Advanced Project Management Certificate from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Nagpur University.
