Ramakanth Sarabu

Ramakanth Sarabu has an extensive work history in the pharmaceutical industry. Ramakanth held various roles at Roche Pharmaceuticals from 1988 to 2012, including Senior Principal Scientist, Senior Research Leader, and Research Leader. From 2012 to 2019, they served as Head of Medicinal Chemistry at Biocon-BMS R&D Center. Ramakanth then worked as an Independent Consultant before joining Cellarity in November 2019 as Head of Chemistry.

Ramakanth Sarabu obtained their M.Sc in Organic Chemistry from Osmania University in 1979. Ramakanth then went on to earn their Ph.D from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in the same field from 1979 to 1984. Following that, they pursued Post Doctoral Fellowships in Organic Chemistry at Harvard University from 1984 to 1985 and at Case Western Reserve University from 1985 to 1988.
