William Yoon

William Yoon has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on medical affairs and strategic alliances. William is currently the Vice President and Head of Medical Affairs at Cellectar Biosciences, Inc. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Clinical and Value Evidence at ImmunoGen, Inc. From 2020 to 2022, they held the position of Head of Population Health Account Management at Novartis, where they built and led a national medical population health account management team. Before that, they were the Head of US External Engagement and Medical Advocacy at Sandoz Inc., where they successfully created the US Medical Affairs organization for biosimilars and led field teams that impacted changes in CMS regulations. Yoon also served as the Executive Director and Head of US Medical Managed Markets and Strategic Alliances, as well as the National Director of Strategic Alliances at Sandoz Biosimilars. Their career in the pharmaceutical industry began in 2003 at Novartis Oncology, where they held the position of Director of National Accounts Scientific Operations.

William Yoon studied at Purdue University from 1988 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree in the field of Pharmacy. Later, they attended Shenandoah University from 1998 to 2001 and obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in Pharmacy. William continued their education at the University of Phoenix from 1998 to 2020, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management.
