Doriano Fabbro

Doriano Fabbro is a seasoned expert in kinase drug discovery with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Since 2020, Fabbro has served as Senior VP Research at Cellestia Biotech, while also holding the position of Chief Scientific Officer at PIQUR Therapeutics since January 2013. Fabbro has provided consulting services since December 2012. Prior to these roles, Fabbro worked at Novartis from 1991 to 2012, culminating in the position of Executive Director with leadership across various oncology drug discovery initiatives. Fabbro's early career includes roles at Ciba-Geigy and the Department of Research Kantonsspital Basel, where foundational work in molecular tumor biology took place. Fabbro earned a PhD in Biology-Biochemistry from the Biocenter Basel, further establishing a strong academic background in the field.
