Marwa Bsat

Marwa Bsat has a wealth of experience in the scientific field. Marwa began their career as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the American University of Beirut in 2010. In 2011, they became a Research Associate at AUBMC, where they conducted voice analysis tests and published a peer-reviewed article. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Scientist Immunologist Researcher at Centre de recherche du CHUM (CRCHUM), where they delivered complex scientific knowledge through detailed reports, research proposals, articles, and posters. Marwa also received three travel awards to participate in international meetings to present their findings. From 2016 to 2020, Marwa worked as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant at Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al, where they taught classes of undergraduate students how to plate and identify bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Finally, Marwa is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School, and will be transitioning to Scientist II at Celsius Therapeutics in 2022.

Marwa Bsat received their French Baccalaureate from International College between 1992 and 2007. Marwa then went on to obtain their Bachelor of Science in Biology, General from American University of Beirut between 2007 and 2010. After that, they earned their Master's degree in Microbiology and Immunology from Université de Montréal in 2012 and 2013. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology and Immunology from Université de Montréal in 2020.
