Carmen Jiménez Lezama currently serves as the CCUS Project Manager at CEMEX, focusing on making the Rüdersdorf plant the first CO2-neutral cement plant by 2030 through the development of suitable CO2 capture technologies. Previously, Carmen held the position of HVAC Reliability Engineer at Tesla and served as Project Manager for Software/Hardware Development at Airbus, working on the Autonomous Distress Tracking Project for various aircraft models. Earlier experience includes working as a Technical Sales Engineer at KettenWulf and as an Industrial Maintenance Technician at CEMEX Venezuela, where Carmen contributed to maintenance plan improvements. Carmen holds a Master in Design Management from ESdesign Escuela Superior de Diseño de Barcelona and a Master of Engineering in Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance Technology from Universidad Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho, alongside a Bachelor of Applied Science from Colegio Salesiano Pio XII.
