Davi Ludvig Goncalves

Davi Ludvig Goncalves, PhD, is an experienced research scientist currently serving as Research Scientist II at Cemvita Factory Inc. since July 2022, focusing on the development of bioenergy solutions and leading projects related to bioenergy and bio feedstocks. Prior experience includes roles as a postdoctoral research fellow at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, analyzing oxidative stress effects on yeast chaperone proteins and mentoring students, an industrial postdoctoral researcher at Braskem, and a guest researcher at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, where Davi engineered yeast strains for ethanol production. Davi holds a PhD in Biochemistry and has a strong background in biotechnology and biology from various institutions, including the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and Universidade do Extremo Sul Catarinense.
