Puja Shah

Puja Shah has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Law Clerk for Disability Rights California, where they assisted with client intake, researched legal issues, and drafted complaints. In 2012, they served as a Law Clerk for Compassion Over Killing and later as a Judicial Extern for Justice Woods at the California Court of Appeal, Second District. In 2014, Puja joined L.A. Care Health Plan, where they held various positions, including In House Counsel and Senior Business Strategist. Puja'sresponsibilities included drafting and negotiating contracts, managing provider relationships, and implementing new programs. Most recently, Puja worked at CenCal Health as an Associate Counsel and is currently serving as the Director of Audits & Monitoring.

Puja Shah completed their Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Art History at UCLA from 2003 to 2007. Puja then pursued a Doctor of Law (JD) degree at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles from 2010 to 2013.
