Robert Markway

Robert Markway is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Competency Assurance Consultant at Shell since August 2013, Markway focuses on assessing HSSE and Technical Competency for Shell Upstream Americas E&P Leadership. Concurrently involved with multiple consulting roles since 2003 at Coquina Consulting, LLC and with John M. Campbell & Co. and Cenergy International Services, Markway provides expert consultation to upstream oil and gas E&P companies, government agencies, and service providers. Markway's extensive background includes over 30 years at Shell Oil Company, where responsibilities as Asset Leader encompassed management of engineering, operations, and research for leading deepwater projects in the Gulf of Mexico. Markway holds a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University, earned between 1968 and 1973.
