Martin la Faille started their work experience in 1995 as a Freelance Technical Editor for Wegener Tijdschriften. Martin later joined Volt Delta International as a Customer Support Engineer in 1997 and continued in that role until 2009. Martin la Faille attended De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1991 to 1996. During this time, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Telematics.
