Andrew Issa

Andrew Issa is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Downstream Value Capture Specialist at Cenovus Energy since 2019. In this role, Andrew leads cultural transformation initiatives across Downstream assets, enabling refinery teams to achieve budget goals through the introduction of tools and sustainable systems. Previously, Andrew held the position of Senior Advisor in Corporate Development, where significant contributions were made to executive decision-making related to asset portfolio optimization, overseeing negotiations and collaboration among various stakeholders. Prior to joining Cenovus Energy, Andrew gained valuable experience at Husky Energy as a Process/Project Engineer, where a range of engineering and project management competencies were applied across Upstream, Downstream, and Midstream assets. Andrew holds an MBA from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta.
