Doreen Cole

Doreen Cole P.Eng. ICD.D is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as EVP Downstream and previously as SVP Downstream Manufacturing at Cenovus Energy since September 2021. Prior to this, Doreen held the position of Managing Director at Syncrude Canada Ltd. from December 2017 to July 2021, and served in various leadership roles at Suncor Energy, including SVP Oil Sands Maintenance & Reliability and VP Operations, Oil Sands from February 2014 to November 2017. Doreen's earlier career includes senior roles at EPCOR, where responsibilities spanned SVP Electricity and VP Power Generation, as well as significant experience at Shell Canada. Doreen holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto and has pursued further education at prestigious institutions such as The Wharton School and Harvard Business School Executive Education, along with completing the Institute of Corporate Directors - Director Education Program.
