Safiyah A Zaidi's work experience begins in 2018 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Dallas, where they worked at the Cognition Lab. In 2019, they took on a role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the NSF grant on Return Migration and also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The Schizophrenia and Social Cognition Lab.

In 2020, Safiyah served as a Bill Archer Fellow at The Archer Center, a semester-long internship and academic fellowship program in Washington, D.C. Safiyah also worked as a Health Policy Intern at Primary Care Collaborative during this time.

Moving into 2021, Safiyah became a Fault Lines Intern at Al Jazeera Media Network and a Research Fellow at the Roosevelt Institute. Safiyah continues their work at the Roosevelt Institute until January 2023.

In 2022, Safiyah started a role as a Business Analyst at Censeo Consulting Group and became an Inaugural Fellow at NationSwell, a program designed to support future change-makers.

Safiyah A Zaidi's education history begins with their high school diploma which they obtained from Mcneil High School in the year 2018. Safiyah then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Texas at Dallas from 2018 to 2022. During their undergraduate studies, they focused on the fields of Biology/Biological Sciences, Political Science, and Spanish. In 2022, Safiyah furthered their education by completing a Certificate in Business Analytics from Harvard Business School Online.

In addition to their formal education, Safiyah also obtained certifications in the field of healthcare. In July 2019, they became certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. Safiyah also obtained certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association in April 2019.
