Afzal Juneja

Afzal Juneja has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Afzal is currently employed at Censius as an Engineering Lead, where they are responsible for designing the technical architecture of the company's product and translating AI/ML requirements into engineering specifications. Prior to this, Afzal worked at IDfy as a Senior Software Engineer, where they played a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying individual services from scratch. Afzal also managed and launched multi-cloud infrastructure using Terraform & Terragrunt and implemented micro-service architecture using GKE & EKS. Before IDfy, Afzal worked at CrowdANALYTIX as a Software Engineer, where they designed and deployed cost-efficient ML/DL pipeline architecture and mentored a team of interns for delivering AI-oriented products. Afzal also collaborated with data scientists to automate ML/DL development workflows. Afzal's earlier experience includes working as a Junior Software Engineer at CrowdANALYTIX, where they developed predictive and pattern recognition models using Python/Perl scripting and built standalone applications for web scraping, data analysis, and data transformation. Their first job was as a software developer at Vizista Technologies, where they completed a winter internship and developed a patient management tool using PHP, MySQL, and Javascript.

Afzal Juneja completed their schooling from Dawoodbhoy Fazalbhoy high school between the years 2000 and 2010, obtaining their SSC degree. Afzal then pursued their Higher Secondary Commitee (HSC) in Science from Elphiston College from 2010 to 2012. Subsequently, Afzal Juneja attended Anjuman-I-Islam Kalsekar Technical Campus from 2012 to 2016, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Afzal Juneja obtained certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Afzal obtained the certification of Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from The Linux Foundation in May 2021.
