Sonya Williams

Sonya Williams is an experienced professional in organizational change management and continuous improvement, currently serving as the Lead IT Organizational Change Manager at Centene Corporation since January 2020. In this role, Sonya spearheads IT change management processes across the enterprise, overseeing complex cross-functional initiatives. Prior to this, Sonya held various positions at Macy's, including Senior Organizational Change Manager and Operational Excellence Manager, where responsibilities included leading continuous improvement activities within Human Resources. Sonya also has a background in claims management at Liberty Mutual Insurance and Safeco Insurance, coaching teams and enhancing performance in claims processing. Sonya began a career in the insurance industry at Progressive Insurance as a Claims Adjuster. Sonya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Speech Communications from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
