Zuwaina Murad is an experienced psychotherapist and educator with a robust background in mental health and addictions. Currently serving as an independent psychotherapist at The Amicus Group since May 2017, Zuwaina employs a diverse range of psychotherapeutic methods, including psychodynamic, Adlerian, CBT, DBT, EFT, solution-focused, and narrative therapy. In addition, Zuwaina has been a professor in the Addictions and Mental Health Worker program at Centennial College since September 2020, and previously taught within the Social Service Worker program at George Brown College from September 2016 to April 2020. Zuwaina's prior roles include trauma counselor at Belinda's Place, co-response crisis worker with York Support Services Network, and addiction counselor at Addiction Services for York Region. Zuwaina holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Adler Graduate Professional School and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University.
