Andrea Ducas

Andrea Ducas has a diverse range of work experience in the field of health policy. Andrea currently holds the position of Vice President of Health Policy at the Center for American Progress. Prior to this, they worked at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, where they held various roles including Senior Program Officer, Program Officer, and Program Associate. Andrea also pursued a full-time graduate education at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and worked as a Summer Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Andrea gained experience in health insurance and policy research as a Policy and Research Analyst at the NYC Office of Citywide Health Insurance Access (OCHIA). Additionally, they worked as a Development and Communications Associate at the Center for Family Representation (CFR) and briefly served as the Chief Marketing Officer at EveryDoc, LLC. Earlier in their career, they were a Research Assistant at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Visiting Scholar at the US Department of Health and Human Services.

Andrea Ducas completed their undergraduate studies at Brown University from 2003 to 2006, earning a Bachelor's degree in International Relations with a focus on Global Health. Their pursuit of further education led their to enroll at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health from 2010 to 2011, where they obtained a Master's degree in Public Health with a specialization in Health Policy & Management.
