Andrew Schwartz

Andrew Schwartz is a Senior Policy Analyst at the Center for American Progress since June 2015, with a diverse background in policy analysis, spatial and statistical analysis, and GIS. Previous roles include Independent Consultant, Graduate Research Fellow at The University of Texas at Austin, and Economic Graduate Policy Intern at the Center for American Progress. Schwartz has also contributed as a GIS Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Development Intern at the Morgridge Center for Public Service, and Legislative Intern at the Wisconsin State Assembly, among other positions. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Affairs from The LBJ School of Public Affairs, a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural & Applied Economics from the same institution.
