Billy Flanagan

Billy Flanagan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 2006, Billy served as a Finance Manager for The Vineyard Sound, a role that lasted until 2007. In 2008, they worked as an Equality Center Intern and later as an Equality Center Assistant for The Human Rights Campaign. Billy also worked as a Program Coordinator for the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering from 2008 to 2010. From 2011 onwards, Billy joined the Center for American Progress and held multiple positions, including Special Events Coordinator, Manager of Special Events, Associate Director of Events, and Director of Special Events. Currently, Billy holds the position of Senior Director, Special Events and Outreach at the Center for American Progress. Additionally, from 2013 to 2015, Billy worked as a Freelance Wedding Planner.

Billy Flanagan's education history begins in 1994 when they attended Holy Trinity, although no degree or field of study is specified. After completing their time at Holy Trinity, they went on to attend Gonzaga College High School where they earned their HS Diploma between 1997 and 2001. Following high school, Billy enrolled at William & Mary from 2001 to 2007, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Music and Psychology. Three years after completing their bachelor's degree, Billy attended the University of Virginia in 2010 and 2011 to obtain a Certificate in Event Planning.
