Cody Hankerson

Cody Hankerson has a diverse work experience. Cody is currently the Associate Director of Digital Media Strategy at the Center for American Progress, starting in November 2022. Previously, they served as a Healthcare Specialist in the Army National Guard since January 2014. Cody also worked as a Campaign Manager for Liz Lee For The East Side from January 2022 to March 2023. Additionally, they were the Executive Director of OPE! PAC from June 2021 to March 2023. Prior to that, they were the Organizing Director for the March for Science from November 2020 to April 2021. Cody also worked as a Digital Field Director for the Scholten4Iowa Campaign Committee from August 2019 to November 2020, and as a Regional Field Organizer from January 2018 to November 2018. Earlier in their career, they served as a Co Project Manager at Morningside College from August 2015 to April 2018, and as a Lead Technician at Biolife Plasma Services from October 2014 to April 2018.

Cody Hankerson completed a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology, General from Morningside University. This educational journey spanned from 2013 to 2018.
