Hailey Gibbs

Hailey Gibbs, Ph.D., currently serves as the Associate Director of Early Childhood Policy at the Center for American Progress since January 2022, focusing on research and advocacy efforts within the Early Childhood Policy team. Previous roles include Senior Policy Analyst within the same organization and Postdoctoral Researcher at Temple Infant and Child Lab, where significant contributions were made to publications and collaborative projects with notable institutions like the LEGO Foundation and the Brookings Institution. Hailey has also served as an Affiliate Instructor at Loyola University Maryland and managed the Cognition and Development Lab at the University of Maryland during graduate studies, where a Ph.D. in Human Development was obtained. Early research internships and academic contributions span various peer-reviewed journals, establishing a strong foundation in the field of human development and early childhood education.
