Joshua O.

Joshua O. serves as the Special Events and Production Manager at the Center for American Progress, focusing on public policy issues such as gun violence prevention, health, LGBTQ+ issues, technology, criminal justice reform, immigration, and racial equity and justice. Additionally, Joshua O. is a Commissioner for the Washington D.C. Regional Planning Commission on Health and HIV and the Founder and Chair of the Board of Directors at Diversity Camp Inc., where governance and strategic planning are key responsibilities. Experience includes internships with the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the United States Senate, and Public Citizen, alongside years of involvement in political campaigns and community services. Joshua O. holds a Master of Public Policy from George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Old Dominion University.
