Megan Shahi

Megan Shahi has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Megan currently serves as the Director of Technology Policy at the Center for American Progress since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Product Trust Partner at Twitter from October 2021 to January 2023. Megan was also a Product Policy Manager at Instagram from October 2019 to July 2021. Megan served as a Crisis Manager, Risk & Response at Meta from September 2017 to October 2019. Before their roles in technology companies, Megan worked as an Economic Research Analyst at the U.S. Department of the Treasury from September 2015 to July 2017. Megan also gained experience as a Domestic Policy Council Intern at The White House in 2014 and as an Analyst at The Duberstein Group from November 2012 to May 2013. Megan started their career as an Assistant to the Director of Office Support at NAREIT from August 2012 to December 2012.
