Sam Hananel

Sam Hananel has worked as an Associate Director of Media Relations at the Center for American Progress since July 2017. Prior to that, they worked at the Associated Press from August 2002 to July 2017 as a Reporter, specializing in covering the U.S. Supreme Court, legal affairs, labor and workplace issues, Congress, politics, and campaigns.

Sam Hananel graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Sam later attended Tulane University Law School from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
