Samantha Reid

Samantha Reid has extensive work experience in digital engagement and communications. Samantha is currently the Senior Director of Digital Engagement at the Center for American Progress, where they previously served as the Director of Digital Engagement. Before that, they were the Digital Director at Patients For Affordable Drugs. Prior to that, Samantha worked at Neighborhoods.com as the Communications Manager, where they handled social media campaigns, online community building, direct email marketing, and public relations. Samantha also worked at 55places.com as the Communications Manager and Content Manager, and at USA TODAY as a Collegiate Correspondent. Samantha's early career includes roles at Roosevelt University as a Web Editor, Student Instructor, and Administrative Assistant, as well as a Safety Assistant at Aunt Martha's Youth Service Center.

Samantha Reid attended Lincoln-Way Central High School from 2006 to 2010, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Following high school, they enrolled at Roosevelt University and studied English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from 2010 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree.
