Will Ragland has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Will began their career in 2003 as a Teacher at Massanutten Military Academy. From 2004 to 2006, they served as a Peace Corps Volunteer with the U.S. Peace Corps. In 2007, they worked as a Staff Assistant with the U.S. House of Representatives' Oversight and Government Reform Committee. In 2008, they joined Obama for America as a Regional Research Director and later served as a Legislative Assistant with the Obama Biden Presidential Transition Team. From 2009 to 2014, Ragland worked at the U.S. Department of Education in roles including Special Assistant and Director of Strategic Outreach. Most recently, they held positions at the Center for American Progress, starting as the Campaign Director for Education Policy in 2014 and then becoming the Managing Director and Research Director of the War Room from 2017.
Will Ragland attended the Virginia Military Institute from 1999 to 2003 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
