Hee-Eun Kim

Hee-Eun Kim currently serves as President & CEO of the Center for Asia Pacific Strategy since January 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Deputy Director of Pol-Mil Engagement and Chief of UNC Logistics Branch at the United Nations Command/Combined Forces Command/United States Forces Korea from 2017 to 2019 and 2012 to 2016, respectively. Kim has also worked as a staff member at CheongWaDae in the Office of President for Foreign Affairs and National Security from 2011 to 2012 and as Chief Manager of the WEST Program at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education, Science and Technology from 2009 to 2011. Earlier career highlights include research positions at the Gyeonggi Research Institute's Northeast Asia Center and the East Asia Affairs Research Institute at Sungkyunkwan University. Education was completed at Sungkyunkwan University.
