Maryam Rahimian

Maryam Rahimian, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of gene therapy and biologics. Maryam is currently working as an Associate Director at the Center for Breakthrough Medicines. Prior to that, they held the position of Principle Scientist in gene therapy process development at Castle Creek Biosciences, Inc. Maryam has also worked at Tmunity Therapeutics Incorporated as a Senior Scientist and Scientist, where they focused on downstream development and optimization of gene therapy processes. Additionally, Maryam has experience as a Research Scientist at Lancaster Laboratories, where they led downstream process development for biologics projects. Maryam began their career as a Postdoc at the University of Pennsylvania, conducting research on enzyme kinetics and drug discovery.

Maryam Rahimian received their PhD in Biophysical Chemistry from Georgia State University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008.
