Peri Morris

Peri Morris has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and healthcare industries. They began their career as a Student Research Assistant in a Genetics Lab at South Carolina State University in 2011. In 2012, they worked as an Intern-Project Support Senior Assistant at Xerox.

Starting in 2013, Peri held various roles at MD Anderson Cancer Center, including a Graduate Co-op/Intern position in the Genomics Medicine department. At MD Anderson, they gained experience in cancer drug discovery, handling cell cultures, and conducting assays and data analysis.

In 2014, Peri joined FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies as a Downstream Biomanufacturing Technician, where they were responsible for purifying upstream products for clients and developing aseptic Bulk Product Fill procedures.

From 2016 to 2017, Peri worked as a Manufacturing Associate at Gradalis, Inc, where they produced personalized immunotherapy treatments and led teams in writing and reviewing manufacturing deviation reports.

In 2017, Peri joined Lonza as a Core Biomanufacturing Technician III and later took on roles such as Project Lead and Senior Manufacturing Project Specialist, where they managed projects and drove continuous improvement initiatives.

In their most recent position, Peri worked at the Center for Breakthrough Medicines as the Director of Strategic Projects and Continuous Improvement, focusing on viral vector manufacturing.

Peri Morris completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from South Carolina State University, between 2008 and 2012. Following that, Morris pursued a Master's Degree in Biotechnology at Texas A&M University, from 2012 to 2014.
