Praneeth Kamana

Praneeth Kamana has a diverse work experience in the field of microbiology. Their most recent position was as the Director of Microbiology at the Center for Breakthrough Medicines, starting in May 2021. Praneeth previously served as the Senior Microbiology Lab Manager at Pii (Pharmaceutics International, Inc.) from October 2020 to April 2021. Prior to that, they were the Microbiology Manager at Teligent, Inc. from July 2018 to October 2020. Praneeth also worked at SCA Pharmaceuticals as a Microbiology Manager and Quality Control Manager from December 2015 to June 2018. Praneeth started their career at Unilever as a Lead Microbiologist/Quality Analyst from July 2011 to December 2012. Praneeth has academic experience as well, having worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Arkansas State University from September 2008 to August 2010. Praneeth also gained industry experience as a Project Trainee at IICT, where they worked on the production of a disease-prohibiting vaccine.

Praneeth Kamana completed a Bachelor of Technology degree in Biotechnology from Sathyabama University from 2004 to 2008. Subsequently, from 2008 to 2011, Praneeth pursued a Master of Science degree in Biology, Genetics from Arkansas State University.
