Rebecca Bridges has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Rebecca has served as the Executive Director at the Center for Contemporary Arts since 2021. Prior to this role, Rebecca was the Owner/Founder of Bridge PR, where they provided comprehensive and affordable PR services to artists, including website design, event planning, social media management, and graphic design.
From 2012 to 2021, Rebecca worked at The Grace Museum, initially as a Registrar and later as the Programming and Interpretation responsible for public programming and exhibition-related programs. Rebecca also managed the museum's website and in-gallery interpretation.
Before joining The Grace Museum, Rebecca worked as a Registrar/Collections Manager at The Old Jail Art Center, where they maintained and coordinated the museum's permanent collection, managed grants, led board committees, and handled various tasks related to museum operations.
Rebecca started their career as a Custom Framer at MSC University Plus Frame Shop and gained experience as an intern at The Grace Museum, where they worked in both curatorial and education departments. Throughout their career, Rebecca has demonstrated expertise in various areas, including PR, programming, website management, exhibition curation, and collection management.
Rebecca Bridges pursued their education starting in 2003 at Texas A&M University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Studies with a minor in Art & Architectural History in 2008. In 2007, Rebecca attended Lorenzo de' Medici, Italian International Institute for a brief period to study Italian and Museum Studies.
