Emma Dayton

Emma Dayton has a diverse work experience in communications and marketing. Emma has served as a Director of Communications at the Center for Justice Innovation, where they implemented digital strategy best practices and managed various digital platforms. Prior to that, Emma worked as an Audience Engagement Specialist at WNET New York Public Media, executing digital marketing plans and engaging target audiences through various media channels. Emma also served as a Communications Director at LitWorld, leading successful campaigns and managing a cross-coastal communications team. Emma has experience in managing social media strategies, website administration, and content creation. Additionally, they worked at KMFA 89.5 as a Public Relations Manager and at Arizona Grantmakers Forum as a Communications Manager and AmeriCorps VISTA & Communications Associate. Emma's earlier experience includes working as an Advertising Sales Assistant at Capital Newspapers and as a Classroom Assistant at Orchard Ridge Elementary School as part of AmeriCorps - Schools of Hope.

Emma Dayton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010. Emma also studied at the University of Buenos Aires, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown. Emma has additional certifications in Social Impact Management & Leadership from the Institute for Nonprofit Practice and in Grant Writing / Designing Fundable Programs from the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits, obtained in 2023.
