Aliya Bhatia is a policy analyst at the Center for Democracy & Technology since February 2022 and currently serves as an International Strategy Forum Fellow for North America 2024 with Schmidt Futures. Bhatia has been recognized as one of 100 global fellows focused on geopolitics, innovation, and technology. Previous roles include project and communications officer at Ranking Digital Rights, program manager for the US Census at the Association For A Better New York, research fellow at Columbia | SIPA, and managing editor at the Journal of International Affairs. Bhatia completed a Master of Public Administration in Urban and Technology Policy at Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations at the University of Toronto.
