Rachel Bolton-King

Visiting Fellow at Staffordshire University

Rachel Bolton-King currently serves as the Senior Associate Editor and Editor in Chief of the Science & Justice Journal at The Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences. With a long-standing position at Staffordshire University since October 2011, Rachel is a Visiting Fellow, Director of the Staffordshire University Cold Case Unit, Associate Professor of Forensic Science, and a Short Course Trainer specializing in forensic firearms identification and ballistics. Additionally, roles include Associate Professor and Courses Manager of Forensic Science at Nottingham Trent University, Visiting Associate Professor at Staffordshire Police, and Visiting Research Fellow at Aston University. Rachel has also contributed to the open access Journal of Forensic Science & Criminology as a member of the Advisory Board and has held prior editorial positions. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Forensic Science, a PhD in Forensic Firearms Identification and Imaging, and various professional development certificates from Nottingham Trent University and the University of Staffordshire.
