Kristin W. is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Policy Counsel at the Center for Democracy & Technology since May 2023. Previously, Kristin held the position of Legal Fellow at the Cyber Civil Rights Initiative from May 2022 to June 2023 and worked with the United Teachers of Dade from May 2022 to May 2023, where responsibilities included member representation in labor grievances and supporting collective bargaining efforts for a large workforce. Kristin's background also includes roles as a Law Clerk at Tenzer Arrieta PLLC, co-founding the Tech Law Club at the University of Miami School of Law, and various legal internships focusing on health rights and data privacy. Kristin earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from the University of West Florida.
