Rebecca Smith is a seasoned policy counsel with expertise in media policy, artificial intelligence, and copyright, currently advising the Motion Picture Association's EMEA policy team since July 2021. Prior experience includes roles as EU Affairs Manager, Policy Analyst, and European Policy Associate at the City of London Corporation and research assistant at the Mission of Japan to the EU. Earlier roles featured a trainee position with the Committee on Constitutional Affairs at the European Parliament. Rebecca holds a Master’s Degree in International and European Law from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Trinity College Dublin, with additional study at KU Leuven.
