Audrey Kidwell is an experienced grants management professional currently serving as the Grants Manager at the Center for Disaster Philanthropy since March 2022, overseeing the Blackbaud Grantmaking system. Prior to this role, Audrey was the Program and Projects Manager at Volunteer Florida from December 2014 to March 2022, where significant achievements included the creation and implementation of an online grant management system that facilitated the distribution of over 40 million grant dollars. Audrey has a strong background in community outreach and volunteer management, demonstrated through positions at the University of Miami and as a co-founder of Warm Fuzzies Care Packages. Audrey's early career involved service with AmeriCorps VISTA, a substitute teaching role, and significant contributions to the Peace Corps. Education includes a Master of Science in Education from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Southern Indiana.

CDP’s mission is to leverage the power of philanthropy to mobilize a full range of resources that strengthen the ability of communities to withstand disasters and recover equitably when they occur. With an emphasis on recovery and disaster risk reduction, CDP aims to: • Increase the effectiveness of contributions given to disasters • Bring greater attention to the life cycle of disasters, from preparedness and planning, to relief, to rebuilding and recovery efforts • Provide timely and relevant advice from experts with deep knowledge of disaster philanthropy • Conduct due diligence so donors can give with confidence • Create plans for informed giving for individuals, corporations and foundations
