Rayhan Ahmed is a research consultant at the Center for Environmental and Geographic Information Services (CEGIS) since October 2022, focusing on climate change impact assessment, water disaster risk management, and hydro-climatic disaster risk reduction. Previous roles include junior environmental specialist at Resourcesafe Consultants Ltd. and research assistant at the Department of Emergency Management, PSTU. Rayhan also gained experience as a research intern at the Bangladesh Agriculture Research Institute (BARI). Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Integrated Water Resources Management at Cologne University of Applied Sciences, Rayhan holds a Master's degree in Disaster Science and Emergency Management and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Disaster Management from Patuakhali Science and Technology University. Additionally, Rayhan is enhancing German language skills through a course at iik Düsseldorf.
