Shahana Akter

Shahana Akter is an experienced Research Assistant with a strong background in environmental science. Currently employed at the Center for Environmental and Geographic Information Services (CEGIS) since March 2023, Shahana Akter contributes to the ECCP-flood project. Previously, Shahana Akter worked as a Teaching Assistant at Momentous Education, focusing on preparing students for the IELTS exam from February 2020 to October 2022. Additional research roles include projects at Khulna University, Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation, and BRAC University, where Shahana Akter conducted surveys, data collection, and report preparation on various environmental issues. Shahana Akter holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Khulna University.
