Renee Schenkman

Renee Schenkman is a legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney at the Center for Family Representation since November 2022. Previously, Renee was an Equal Justice Works Fellow sponsored by The Morrison & Foerster Foundation at Lawyers For Children from October 2020 to October 2022. Renee earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from New York University School of Law in 2020 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics from Stanford University, completed in 2013. Prior experiences include roles as an Administrative Assistant at the University of Michigan College of Engineering, an Elementary School Teacher at Experiencia Preparatory Academy, and a Corps Member with Teach For America, among others.
