Ysmerlyn Baez is a social worker supervisor at the Center for Family Representation. Ysmerlyn has been working in the field of social work for over 20 years.

Ysmerlyn started their career at The Legal Aid Society in 1997, where they worked as the director of professional development. In this role, they were responsible for introductory and ongoing training and professional development of all staff, including management coaching for supervisors (middle managers).

After five years at The Legal Aid Society, Ysmerlyn moved on to their current role at the Center for Family Representation. In their current role, they provide supervision and support to social workers who are working with families in the foster care and juvenile justice systems.

Ysmerlyn Baez earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, General from Colgate University. Ysmerlyn then went on to earn their Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School in Human Rights Law.
