Jennie L. Stephens

CEO at Center for Heirs'​ Property Preservation

Jennie L. Stephens is the CEO of the Center for Heirs' Property Preservation, a position they have held since 2006. Prior to their current role, Stephens served as the Senior Program Director at Coastal Community Foundation from 1998 to 2006, where they managed and coordinated grant application and review processes and developed recommendations for allocating resources to nonprofits in an eight-county area. Stephens also facilitated the creation of a Land Preservation Initiative that educated and assisted heirs’ property owners in protecting and preserving their land.

From 1995 to 1998, Stephens was the Sponsored Programs Director at Voorhees College, where they conducted leadership and organizational development workshops for leaders of neighborhood and community-based organizations. Stephens provided technical assistance in program development and implementation as appropriate to grantees, non-profit organizations, and grassroots groups.

Stephens has dedicated their career to helping others protect and preserve their land and property. Through their work at the Center for Heirs' Property Preservation, Stephens is able to continue their mission of helping families keep their homes and land for generations to come.
