Tammy Huyvaert

Tammy Huyvaert has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Tammy began their career in 1980 as an RN at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, where they worked until 2004. From 2002 to 2005, they worked as an ED nurse at Goshen Hospital & Health Care Foundation. Tammy then joined Indiana Organ Procurement Organization in 2004 as a Family Services Coordinator, where they worked until 2015, collaborating with nurses and working closely with families. In 2015, Tammy joined Center for Hospice Care as an Admissions Coordinator, and later moved on to the role of Assistant Director of Nursing from 2017 to 2021. Tammy is currently serving as the Director of Quality Assurance and Medical Records at the same organization. In addition to their healthcare roles, Tammy also worked as a Stylist for Color Street Nail strips from 2017 to 2021. Overall, their work experience demonstrates a strong commitment to healthcare, patient care, and quality assurance.

Tammy Huyvaert has a diverse education history in the field of nursing. Tammy first obtained an associate degree in nursing (ADN) from Southwestern Michigan College in 1986. Shortly after, they completed their bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from Ferris State University in the same year.

In 2016, Tammy pursued further education by completing a master's degree in nursing (MSN) with a focus on nursing education from Western Governors University.

Additionally, in 2015, Tammy obtained a certification as a Grief Counselor from the AIHCP institution.
