Lupita Bustamante currently serves as the Project Success Program Coordinator at the Center for Human Development, leading an evidence-based alcohol and other drug prevention program for youth since September 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a CDC Lewis Scholar at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and as a Program Support Intern with MEND Poverty, where involvement focused on the Pathways to Wellness Program for underserved communities. Previous internships include positions at Enloe Medical Center as a Health Education Intern, the Center for Healthy Communities at Chico State as a Cal Fresh Outreach Student Intern, and the Contra Costa County Health Services as a Student Intern in the Health Career Pathways Program. Early experience includes internships at the Contra Costa County Public Health Department and John Muir Health. Lupita Bustamante holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from California State University, Chico.
